Mozart’s Cafe, owned by Anand and Doris Saha, has been a Columbus favorite for decades, known for its delicious pastries and welcoming atmosphere for events. Each January, they host a community celebration in honor of the birthday of their namesake composer. This year’s event is especially meaningful as it marks their 30th anniversary. In honor of CRIS also celebrating 30 years of welcoming refugees and immigrants in Central Ohio, Anand and Doris have graciously invited us to be among their guests of honor.

CRIS long-time staff member Sowdo Mohamud will share a personal glimpse of her own journey as a refugee and the work of CRIS.

We invite you to join us for this special occasion this Saturday, January 25th, from 4-8 PM at Mozart’s Cafe (4784 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214). Sowdo will speak around 5:15 PM, and CRIS team members will be present throughout the evening to share ways you can get involved.
