Nepali Spiced Chai Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon black tea leaves(or 3 tea bags)
- 1 2/3 cups boiling water
- 1/2 cup milk, heated
- 1/8-1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/3 whole cloves
- 2/3-1 cardamom pods,cracked open(or 1/2 tablespoon ground cardamom)
- 1/3 cinnamon stick
Directions:
- Steep tea in boiling water
- Add milk,sugar,cloves,cardamom and cinnamon stick
- Simmer 10 minutes to blend flavors
- Strain and serve hot
