Music for Change: How one group is educating about immigration issues in the US

A few weeks ago some members of the Vineyard Church of Columbus and friends of the Vineyard put on a benefit concert to support CRIS and help people learn more about the state of immigration in the United States. The walls were covered with beautiful pieces of art and stories of families who've fallen into (or between) the cracks of our immigration system. It was an amazing depiction of the struggles some face in coming to the United States and the incredible sacrifices they make for their families. Not only did we get to learn more, but over $300 dollars was raised for CRIS! Well done friends from the Vineyard- CRIS is always so thankful for the hard work you do to support immigrants and refugees in Columbus! To learn more about what the Vineyard Church of Columbus is saying and doing about immigration reform you can read an op-ed article published by Senior Pastor Rich Nathan here: http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/editorials/stories/2010/03/15/immigration-systems-glaring-flaws-must-be-fixed.html
