May Cho's Story

As a Korean interpreter, I appreciate my role being a part to carry out the mission of CRIS, fully committed to provide services and resources for refugees and immigrants to achieve sustainable living. I have interpreted at the civil and criminal courts as well as during home visits (for clients) of healthcare agencies in and around Columbus area, assigned by CRIS for less than 2 years. Every case is unique, which gives me an eye-opening as well as rewarding experience. CRIS staff and dispatchers are engaging and supportive providing assistance with each assignment and information for upcoming trainings and seminars, so we can adheres to our standards, update skills, and reach our professional goals.
