World Refugee Day 2011
Mark your calendars! In honor of World Refugee Day, CRIS will be hosting an event to celebrate the Columbus refugee community on Saturday, June 18th. There will be dancing, music, a traditional clothing fashion show, a showing of the film Welcome to Shelbyville at 3:30pm, a soccer tournament, an art show, and lots of games for children. And did we mention food? Feel free to bring your favorite cultural dish to share!The fun starts at 11:30am and goes through the afternoon until 5:00pm. We’ll be at Ascension Lutheran Church, located at 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, OH 43224. The event is free and open to the public, so please feel free to stop by and say hello!
